Another year and yet no special Valentine to call my own. My sister, who is my forever valentine, gave me a sweet card and my nephew gave me the most beautiful card and PINK rose. So although I do not have a special man to call my own to spend this day with...The good thing is that I know that I am loved by so many, and most importantly God.Happy Heart Day folks! I am off to treat myself to a good meal and a movie. Enjoy your day!

Valentine's day is overrated
ReplyDeleteI actually agree with Steflova Valentine's day is overrated. Its just a scam by Hallmark and chocolate companies to sell stuff. Capitalistic America got us brainwashed! U don't need a Valentine, flowers or chocolate u can get that anyday. Matter in fact I this year was my last year giving Valentine's day gifts or taking it seriously. Everyday is gonna b Valentine's day for me!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you both. I never paid much attention to the day when I was in a relationship. I think when you are single the day cannot be ignored. The hearts, candy, Lexus and Jared commercials, etc. make it difficult. Its a constant reminder of your single status. Again, okay with it, but come on. You don't want to go everywhere and see all that gross red and pink love. LOL! I'm usually happy when the day comes and goes. As for everyday being V-day....gross again!
